Vaughnette June Bennett, 80 of Crupperneck Rd. Craigsville passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley. She was born April 5, 1932 in Upperglade to Robert Chester and Lillian Pearl Qiunn Johnson. She was a Protestant by faith, and a homemaker.
Vaughnette is survived by sons; Jesse C. Bennett of Cowen, William Bennett of Craigsville, Robert Bennett and Arza Bennett both of Georgia, daughter; Caroline Hall of Craigsville, sister; Freda Hayhurst of Cowen. sereval grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband Junior C. Bennett, son; David Bennett, daughter; Phyliss Mae Bennett, sisters; Aunalea Johnson, Wilma Quinn Cummings, Edna Christian, Joyce Johnston, brothers; Sylvester Quinn and Robert C. Johnson.
Friends may join the family for visitationon Wednesday, October 24, 2012 from 12:00 to 1:00 pm at Adams-Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Larry Lovely officiating. Interment will follow in Hickman Cemetery, Williams River Road, Cowen.
