Vaughnette June Bennett, 80 of Crupperneck Road, Craigsville, passed away on saturday, October 20, 2012 at Raleigh General Hospital, Beckley. She was born April 5, 1932 in Upperglade to Robert Chester and Lillian Pearl Quinn Johnson and was a Protestant by faith. She was a homemaker.
Vaughnette is sirvived by sons; Jesse C. Bennett of Cowen, William Bennett of Craigsville, Robert and Arza Bennett both of Georgia; daughter; Caroline Hall of Craigsville, sister; Freda Hayhurst of Cowen, several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Junior C. Bennett, sisters; Aunalea Johnson, Wilma Quinn Cummings, Edna Christian, Joyce Johnston, son; David Bennett, daughter; Phyllis Mae Bennett, brothers; Sylvester Quinn and Robert C. Johnson.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at Adams-Reed Funeral Home, Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Larry Lovely officaiting. Interment will Follow in Hickman Cemetery, Williams River Road, Cowen.
