Valda Ward

Valda Ruth Ward 85, of Craigsville, WV. passed away on Sunday March 31, 2013 at the Webster Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Diana, Webster County, on June 26, 1927 daughter of the late Dale and Laura Williams. She had lived in Craigsville since 1995 and fromerly of Putman County. She worked for 27 years for the Teays Valley Water Company. She enjoyed painting, bead working and cermics.  She is survived by her son; Ronald "Ron" Ward of Craigsville, daughter; Linda Ward of Greenbrier County, She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Lee Otis Ward, Infant daughter; Carol Ann Ward, brother; Calvin Williams, sisters; Josphine, Dora and Lucille.  Friends may join the family for visitation Wednesday April 3, 2013 at Adams-Reed Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be Thursday April 4, 2013 at the funeral home with the Rev. Keith Williams officiating. Burial will follow in West Virginia Memorial Gardens, Calvin, WV.
