Ruby A. Given, 77, of Cowen, passed away Monday, June 17, 2013 at Summersville Regional Medical Center. She was born September 10, 1935, in Zela, WV. to Patrick and Vesta Hughes Williams. She lived most of her life in Webster County. She was a homemaker and she enjoyed Flowers.
Ruby is survived by her sons, roger (Karen) Given of Cowen and Dwight (Susan) Given of Milton; daughter, Becky Chapman of Cowen; brothers, John Williams of Elkhart, IND. and Jim Williams of Newport News, VA; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; daughter-in law; Florance Okeff Given of Gettysburg, PA.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Jack Given; son Gary Given and grandson Joshua "Josh" Given.
Friends may join the family for visitation fron 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday , June 20, 2013 at Adams-Reed Funeral Home, Cowen.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 21 at the funeral home with the Rev. Larry Lovely officiating. Interment will follow in Hughes Cemetery, Zela.
