Rosetta (Richards) Rapp, 65, of Camden on Gauley, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Summersville Regional Medical Center.
She was an herbalist and a nursing home attendant. Rosetta was always very health conscientious and whenever possible encouraged others to be. She worried about everyone, all of the time. She advocated living right and always encouraged others to do what’s right. Rosetta loved to sing and loved being in the yard, mostly in her flower garden.... She was a member of the Restoration Revival Center. Above all she loved her family, her church and her Lord.
Born October 1, 1951, in Muncie, IN, Rosetta was the daughter of the late Edgar and Rosie (Vice) Richards. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother and her brother, Charles Richards.
Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband, Larry Rapp; daughters, Elizabeth Arnold (husband, Phillip) of Daleville, IN, Lynn Rowland (husband, Jeff) of Shelby Twp, MI, Karen Neal (husband, Scott) of Bedford, IN, Peggy Gilliam (husband, Eddie) of Middletown, IN, and Christina “Marie” Hall (husband, Bill) of Muncie, IN; step-sons, Chuck Burke of CA, and Jimmy Horr of Muncie, IN; grandchildren, Sarah (companion, Omber) Arnold, Rachel (Donnie) Duncan, Kaylee (fiance’ Ted) Arnold, Madison Rowland, Andrew Rowland, Evan Terry, Aaron Terry, Rachel Neal, Amelia Neal, Hannah (husband, Ben) Winningham, David Gilliam, Esther Gilliam, Brayden Wormer, Chloe Hall, and Jaylynn Hall; Great-grandchildren, Ethan Duncan, Elijah Duncan, Eryx Duncan, and Analiese Armstrong; brother, Herschel Richards of Muncie, IN ; sister, Pam (husband, Don) Modglin of FL ; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held 1PM, Thursday, December 15, 2016 at West Virginia Memorial Gardens Chapel, Calvin with Pastor Michael Seabolt officiating.
Friends may join the family for visitation 10 am to 12 noon at Adams-Reed Funeral Home, Cowen.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to be made to the funeral home to assist the family with arrangements.
