Robert Charles Barnett, 72 of Richwood, passed away on Wednesday, November 14,2012 at CAMC Memorial Division, Charleston, WV. He was born January 17, 1940 to the late George A. and Delphia Smith Barnett and lived 46 years in Richwood and formerly of Marlinton, WV. He was a member of Nicholas Ham Radio Club, member of Richwood Moose Lodge 770 and a member of UMWA Dist. 17. He was of the Methodist faith.
Robert is survived by his wife; Myrtle Barnett of Richwood, sons; Robert Charles Barnett JR. (Martha) of Richwood, and William A. Barnett of Clinton, MO. daughters; Vona ( William) Sandy of Richwood, Patricia (Charles) Bennett of Richwood, Wanda (Rondey) Keffer of Richwood, brother; Ralph (Gloria) Barnett of MO. sisters; Edith (Richard) Ness of VA. and Debra Moul of S.C. and 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Leonard and Gerald Barnett and sister; Thelma Collins.
Services will be 1:00 pm., Saturday, November 17, 2012, at Adams-Reed Funeral Home, Cowen, WV, with the Rev. Larry Cochran officiating. Burial will follow at the Barnett Family Cemetery Bug Ridge, Sutton, WV. Friends may call on Friday November 16, 2012 from 5-8p.m. at the funeral home.
