Rebecca Sue Given age 68 of Summersville formerly of Cowen, went to rest awaiting the Lords return July 18, 2015 . She was born July 16, 1947 in Glade View and was the daughter of the late Arthur and Lenita Vaughan Phares Hamilton.
Becky was Past Chief of Pythian Sisters Grand Domain of West Virginia. She was a member Summersville Seventh-day Adventist Church and was a retired school bus driver.
Surviving are her husband Ralph K. Given Jr; children, Kimberly Sue Handschumacher of Craigsville and David Lee Given of Gauley Bridge; grandchildren, Kyle Gordon Handschumacher of Fairmont, Cody Lee Handschumacher of Craigsville and Katelynn Elizabeth Given of Buchanan, VA and a great grandchild Zoey Given of Buchanan, VA; brother, Paul Hamilton of Craigsville, sister, Mary Wiblin of Ashland, VA and brother Larry Hamilton of Fairmont; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Service will be 11 AM Tuesday at Adams-Reed Funeral Home, Cowen conducted by Dr. Mark Wantz elder of her church. Burial will follow at Given Cemetery, Upperglade. Friends may call 5-8 PM Monday at the funeral home.
