Rebecca Kay Barnette Gibson, 46 of Montvale, VA. and most recently of Mills River, NC passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Elizabeth House Hospice Facility in Hendersonville, NC. She was born on Monday, August 1, 1966 in Cowen, WV. to the late George and Gustava Harless Barnette.
She is survived by her son ; Bobby (Amy) Gibson JR.of Lynchburg, VA. grandchildren; Leah Allgood, Lila and Easton Gibson her loving ex-husband Bobby Gibson SR. of Montvale, VA. her campanion; Robert Stockdale and children Katherine and Jacob Stockdale of Mills River, NC. sisters; Brenda Fisher and Patty Revels both of Cowen , brothers; Roger Lee Dotson of Blue Ridge, VA. David (Kandy) Barnette of Cowen , Gene (Shelby) Barnette and Charles Barnette both of Roanoke, VA.
Freinds may join the family for visitation on Thursday, December 27, 2012 from 11:00 to 1:00 at Adams-Reed Funeral Home, Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 with the Rev. Carmel Sanson officiating. Burial will follow in the handschumacher Cemetery, Upperglade.
