Persephonie Jean Gittman, 45 of Webster Springs passed away on February 26, 2012 at her residence. She was born October 18, 1966 in Webster Springs to Jeremiah and Terry Lynn Gillespie Carpenter and was a Home Health Care Aid for Webster County Senior Citizens. Formerly of Norfolk, VA, and living the last 18 years in the area, she enjoyed crocheting and reading and was Pentecostal by faith. Mrs. Gittman is survived by her mother; husband Will Gittman of Webster Springs; son William David Gittman of Webster Springs; brother Shannon (Mary) Carpenter of Cowen; two nieces; one nephew; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father; grandparents Don & Eurlace Gillespie, Willie & Emma Gittman, and Margie & Russell Carpenter. Friends may join the family for visitation on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM with Funeral Services at 2:00 PM at Adams-Reed Funeral Home. Rev. Paul Rounds will officiate. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Erbacon.
