Nora Brady

Nora Wilma Rigsby Brady, 91 of Wooster, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 23, 2012 at her home with nieces Patty Smith and Linda Drysdale by her side.  She had been under the care of Hospice of Wayne County for the past year.

She was born September 1, 1921 in Webster County to Arastis and Sally Ann Hinkle Rigsby and married Conley Brady on January 31, 1942.  She was a homemaker who made Wooster her home for the past 12 years, originally from Cowen.

Nora is survived by many nieces and nephews, Ed and Opal Drysdale of Wooster, Dan and Cheryl Drysdale of OH, Madliene Keith of KY, Louise McIlvaine of Wooster, Lois Combs of Wooster, Gerald and Ida Springston of Akron, OH, Howard and Ann Springston of Stow, OH, Gerald Springston of Diamond, OH, Wanda and Edgar Short of Camden-on-Gauley, Marie Short, Jessie Ray, and Mike Quinn of GA, and Pat Quinn of TN; many great-nieces and nephews; and special great-great-niece and namesake Andrea Nora Naomi Gortner of Wooster.  She was preceded in death by her husband Conley on June 11, 1985; parents; and several brothers and sisters.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Adams-Reed Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 PM at the Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Cochran officiating.  Interment will follow in Handschumacher Cemetery, Upperglade.
