Misty Chapman

Misty Dawn (Russell) “Darlene” Chapman, 29, Dunnellon, FL, formerly of Webster Springs, passed away on Friday, July 23, 2021 in Florida.

Born October 3, 1991 in Summersville, she was the daughter of Loretta Kay (Lee) and James David Russell of Dunnellon, FL and William Craig Riffle of Cowen. She was preceded in death by her uncle, Jeremiah VanPelt and her grandfather, Wayne Pinkerton.

Misty was a fun-loving person with a good heart who was full of life. She enjoyed the outdoors, arts & crafts, and music and dancing.

Left to cherish her memory are her parents Loretta Kay (Lee) and James David Russell and William Craig Riffle; her husband, Robert Lee Chapman II; brothers: Michael Adrian Russell and William Craig Riffle, Jr.; grandparents: Preston and Darlene Lee, Mary Meadows, Buddy Riffle, and Deloris Pinkerton; great-grandparents: Jack and Rose Lee; uncle, Preston Dale Lee, Jr.; aunts: Krista Gail White, Clarissa Adams, and Diane VanPelt; several nieces, one nephew, and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held 6:30pm, Tuesday August 10, 2021 at Adams-Reed Funeral Home, Cowen, with her uncle Preston Lee offering the eulogy. Friends may join the family for an half-hour prior to the memorial service for a time of gathering and reflection. She will be laid to rest privately.
