Mary Ruth Young died Friday, May 20, 2011 at the age of 55. Mary was born in Marietta, GA to the late Charles Cook and Arlene King.
Along with her parents, Mary is preceded in death by two brothers; Jeff and Benny Cook, and one sister; Betty Cook.
She is survived by her four children; Harold and Robert Brown, both of Cowen, Eddie Clark, Richwood, and Javanna Porter of Macon, GA, two brothers; Charles Cook, Marietta, GA, and Randall Cook, Hartwell, GA, three sisters; Opal Self, Kathleen McCloud, and Jane Barrett all of Marietta, GA. Mary was also blessed with five grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Adams-Reed Funeral Home, Cowen, WV, on May 22, 2011 at 2 PM with Rev. Keith Williams officiating. Online condolences can be made at adamsreedfh.com.
