Lorene Glenda Wilfong died Sunday, May 29, 2011 at the age of 83. Lorene was born March 26, 1928 in Webster County to the late Ellery Cogar and Roma Tyler Cogar.
She worked as a fabricator for Rubber Crafters and enjoyed many things like fishing, camping, cooking, gardening, sewing and being around kids.
Along with her parents, Lorene was preceded in death by her two sons; James and Larry Boggs, and stepson Jack Wilfong, one granddaughter; Katrina Fleming, two brothers; George and Bob Cogar, and one sister; Nora Belle McCourt.
Lorene is survived by her husband; Curtis Wilfong of Webster Springs, sons; Edmond Boggs of Richwood, Michael Boggs of Denver, CO, Donald Boggs of Richmond, VA, Tom Boggs of Cowen, and Robert Boggs, Charlie Boggs, and David Boggs all of Webster Springs, two stepchildren; Sherman Wilfong of Craigsville, and Brenda Flanagan of Winchester, VA. Lorene was also blessed to have 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Services will be held Thursday, June 2, 2011 at 11 AM with Rev. Keith Willimas officiating. Burial will follow at WV Memorial Gardens in Calvin, WV. Friends may call on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 between the hours of 5 PM & 8 PM. Online condolences can be made at adamsreedfh.com.
