Lela Jane Cobb

Lela Jane Cobb entered this world on June 26, 1932 in Boggs, WV and went home to be with our Lord on April 21, 2025.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Iva Roberts Bragg. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold D. Cobb and also three siblings, Orval “Orb” Bragg, Clyde Bragg and George Bragg.

Surviving are her daughter, Betty Jean Lough; seven siblings, Thomas F. Bragg and his wife Joyce, Edna Gentille and her husband Sam, Jerry Bragg and his wife Kathy, Ethel Pearl Svader, Martha Mitlow, Goldie McClure and Betty Hardway; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly as well.

Jane was a homemaker; she had worked for the Rubber Fabrication Plant and also Bright of America. She had attended First Baptist Church of Craigsville since 1990; she had the gift of hospitality in always welcoming family and friends into her home and they never left hungry. She loved gardening and working outdoors; she could do a little of everything from carpentry work to plumbing and even mechanicing on the older model vehicles. Jane enjoyed her cats, especially Chico. She loved listening to country and gospel music; she also deeply loved her church family and knowing she had an eternal home to go to when her time was ended on this earth. She will be missed by many!

Services will be held 1:00 PM, Friday, April 25, 2025 at Adams-Reed Funeral Home, Cowen with Pastor Levi Bragg officiating. Burial will follow at the Bragg Family Cemetery, Boggs. Friends may join the family for visitation beginning at 11 AM until time of the service at the funeral home on Friday.
