Judy Mae Brown, 65 of Craigsville, went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on Monday, June 23, 2014 at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Presbyterian in Pittsburgh, PA. She was born August 09, 1948 in Webster Springs to Pearl Mick (Ralph) Green and Samuel Gallogly and was a 1967 graduate of Cowen High School. She was a Clerk for Kentucky Fried Chicken Restaurants and attended Cottle Church of God. She enjoyed liquid fabric painting, fishing and camping, was an avid reader, and loved cockatiels.
Judy is survived by her husband Emmett Samuel Brown of Craigsville, whom she married on May 5, 2006 after a 27 year courtship; dad Sam Gallogly of Upper Glade; sons Keith (Daniela) Brown of Summersville, Kevin (Desiree) Brown of Frametown, Earl (Robin) Brown of Huntington, James (Sandra) Brown of Newton, Arthur (Debra) Brown of Spencer, and Aaron (Alice) Harris of Craigsville; daughters Carlene (John) Sowers of Aurora, CO, Crystal Harris of Summersville, Draina (Dennis) Eagle of Ripley, and Tammy Yates of Ripley; brothers Gary Mick of Oklahoma and Nick (Karen) Gallogly of Grafton, OH; 36 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Thursday, June 26, 2014 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at Adams-Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Services to celebrate Judy's life will be held at 2:00 PM with Rev. Ginny Russ officiating. Interment will follow in West Virginia Memorial Gardens, Calvin.
