James Stallard

James Ulis Stallard, 72 of Elyria, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at Elyria Memorial Hospital. He was born December 23, 1941 in Jenkins, Kentucky to Ray and Edith Ellis Stallard and was a retired coal miner. He attended Walnut Grove Church in Boggs when he lived in the area and was a member of the United Mine Workers of America. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing music. James is survived by his son Ronald James Stallard; daughters Diane Stallard Bragg and Melissa Stallard Tillman; brother Roger Stallard; sisters Linda Jenkins Stallard and Alice Johnson Stallard; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Joan Boggs Stallard; and his twin brother. Friends may join the family for visitation on Saturday, October 18, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Adams-Reed Funeral Home. Memorial Services will be held at 8:00 PM with Rev. Doug Martin officiating.
