Ivory "Dinky" Wolverton, 84 of Camden-On-Gauley, died on Wednesday May 9, 2012 at her residence. She was born on May 24, 1927 at White Oak, Williams River, Cowen, WV., daughter of the late James Lilmar and Lillie Mae Hawkins.
She lived all her life in Webster County and she enjoyed going to church. She attended the Gauley Mills Baptist Church, Camden-On-Gauley.
She is survived by Son; John (Mary) Wolverton of Camden-On-Gauley, 3 grandchildren; Crystal (bernard) King of
Fenwick, WV., Andrew Wolverton of Camden-On-Gauley, and Nathan (brandi) Gwinn of Petersburg, VA., 5 great
grandchildren; Nelson King, Cheyanne King, Anna Wolverton, James Wolverton and Aiden Gwinn, brother; David
Hawkins of Il., 2 sisters; Pearl Dennison of Akron, Oh. and Annabelle Peyatt of Upperglade, WV.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John E. Wolverton, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Adams-Reed Funeral Home, Cowen, WV. with Rev. George Peyatt and Rev. Tom
Kessler officiating. Burial will follow in Alex Williams Cemetery.
