Hazel McCumbers

Hazel M. McCumbers age 92 of Camden-on-Gauley passed away January 31, 2016. She was born March 23, 1923 in Camden-on-Gauley and was the daughter of the late Leslie and Sarcie Shaffer Hickman. Also preceding her in death were her husband E.H. McCumbers, a grandson Jackie, and two brothers and one sister.
Hazel was a devoted housewife, Mom and grandmother. She enjoyed working in the yard with her flowers and garden, she also enjoyed cooking, baking and going shopping.
Surviving are her children, Roy McCumbers and his wife Jennie and Jean Gatto and her husband Steve all of Camden-on-Gauley; one grandson and two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Service will be Noon, Wednesday February 3, 2016 at Adams-Reed Funeral Home, Cowen with Rev. Keith William officiating. Burial will follow at West Virginia Memorial Gardens, Calvin. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
