He was a 1976 graduate of East Bank High School and was actively involved in planning their 40 year class reunion.  Greg got great enjoyment in helping others by volunteering at St. Francis Hospital.  He has been an active member and deacon at Valley Christian Assembly for many years.

He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Sheila Boggess Lovejoy and granddaughter, Shannon Hudson; Sister, Darlene Pettry of Sharon, WV; Brother, Tim Lovejoy (Cheryl) of Hurricane, WV; Nephews and Niece, Matt Pettry (Cathy) and children of Webster Springs, WV; Michael Pettry of Leewood, WV; Timi Fike and children of Huntington, WV; Kaleb Lovejoy of Dallas, TX; Alan Keys and children of Ona, WV.  He is also survived by a host of extended family and friends.

Service will be 4 pm Sunday, September 18 at Valley Christian Assembly, 1703 Bigley Ave, Charleston with Pastor Philip Dunn officiating. Friends may call two hours prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Valley Christian Assembly in memory of Greg for his dedication and service to the church.
