Edward Lee "Ed" Williams

Edward Lee “Ed” Williams, 62 of Cowen, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2025 after a short illness. Ed was born March 19, 1963 in Webster Springs to Robert Wiliams of Cowen and the late Brenda Harrison Williams. Along with his mother he was also preceded in death by his sisters, Rebecca Williams and Jennifer Cogar and also a brother, Brian Williams.

Ed was employed as a maintenance manager for Weyerhaeuser for 27 years where he met many lifelong friends. In his spare time Ed enjoyed hunting and fishing; he will be missed.

Surviving are his wife, Sue Moore Williams; father, Robert Williams; son, Gary Williams and his wife Kaitlyn; daughter, Meagan Holcomb and her two children, grandchildren, Garrison, Emerson and Ava Williams; step-sons, Rodney Knight and his wife Sunny and Jason Knight.

In keeping with Ed’s wishes, cremation will take place and no services will be held at this time.
