Doy Fowler

Doy Allen Fowler age 68 of Birch River passed away July 27, 2017 at home. Doy was born March 29, 1949 in Sutton and was the son of the late Earl and Gladys Boggs Fowler.
Doy was a member of the Boggs Walnut Grove Community Church, Birch River. He was a disabled coal miner; he loved to coon hunt, fish, go camping and go out boating.
Surviving is his loving wife Grace Ann Short Fowler; a son, Matthew Doy Fowler and his wife Jill of Summersville and a daughter Belinda Fowler of Fayetteville; grandson, Cameron Matthew Fowler of Morgantown and adopted grandson Hunter Grafton Short; brothers, Earl Lee Fowler and his wife Charlotte of Birch River and Carl Burnell Fowler and his wife Carolyn of Mansfield, OH; sisters, Norma Russell of Elyria, OH and Sue Bryant and her husband Larry of Sullivan, OH.
Service will be 7:00 PM Monday July 31, 2017 at Adams-Reed Funeral Home, Cowen with Pastor Steve Phillips officiating. Friends may call from 4:00 PM until time of service.
