Dorsey Lee Hammons, 61 of Cranberry Ridge passed away on Wednesday, May 23,2012 at his home. He was born on April 13, 1951 in Richwood, WV. to Elza And Gladys Kate Fletcher Hammons and was a bit grinder. He was protestant by faith, he was a 1969 grad. of Cowen High School, and he enjoyed hunting and dog training. He lived all his life in Webster County.
Dorsey is survivid; by his parents; Elza and Gladys Hammons of Camden On Gauley, sisters; Charlotte Champ of Craigsville, WV. and Garlynn Curry of Pasadena, Maryland. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers; Charles Henry, Burl Ray and Douglas Edgar Hammons.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Saturday, May 26, 2012 from 5-8PM at Adams-Reed Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 27,2012,2:00PM. at the Funeral Home with the Rev. Keith Williams officiating. Burial will be in the Alex Williams Cemetery, Camden On Gauley.
