Dorothea Robertson

Dorothea Lorraine Robertson age 71 of Cowen passed away September 26, 2016 at Summersville Medical Center. She was born November 9, 1944 in Centralia and was the daughter of the late William and Opal Malcomb Perrine.
Dorothea was a lifelong resident of Webster County, a 1962 graduate of Cowen High School and a 1969 graduate of Charleston Beauty Academy and was a Protestant by faith. She enjoyed visiting and having family and friends around and also working in her garden and watching the birds.
Surviving are her daughters; Eva Skeens and her husband Joseph of Cowen and Tammy McClung of Summersville; brother, Alfred Perrine and his wife Sheila of St. Albans; grandchildren, Joey Skeens, Amy Gessler and her husband Kevin and Sara McClung; great granddaughter Lily Wright; nephew Charles Perrine of Tennessee and several cousins in Braxton and Lewis Counties.
Service will be 7:00 PM Thursday September 29, 2016 at Adams-Reed Funeral Home, Cowen with Pastor Ty Farlow officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be 5:00 PM until time of service at the funeral home.
Floral tributes are appreciated; however, Dorothea's family also encourages donations to the Webster County Senior Citizen's in her memory.
