Donald Dwayne Cogar, 63 of Cowen passed away on Friday, April 12, 2013 at his residence. He was born September 25, 1949 in Richwood to Denzil C. "Buck" and June Eleanor Green Cogar and was a retired equipment operator. He was Protestant by Faith and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Donald is survived by his mother; son Brian Cogar; daughter Belinda Cogar Hamrick; half-son Danny Cogar; half-daughter MaryAnn Thurston; step-sons Timmy and Eddie Gardner; and step-daughters Tammy Gilman and Bonnie Gardner; brothers Keith Cogar, Terry L. Cogar, and Larry A. Cogar; sisters Diane Carpenter, Elizabeth Vines, and Sharon Ringsboro; and 21 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and brother Charles L. Cogar.
No services will be held as cremation has taken place.
