Curtis Wayne

Curtis McClung Wayne age 71 of Largo, Florida passed away June 1, 2018 at Bay Pines Veterans Medical Center.  Curtis was born November 20, 1946 in Cowen, WV and was the son of the late Herbert “Mack” and Margaret Julia Weese Wayne. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Henry Lee Wayne and Ray Wayne.

Curtis was a graduate of Cowen High School, veteran of the U.S. Army, worked for Ford Motor Company and was owner/operator of Curtis Wayne’s Lawn Service.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and spending time with his family.

Curtis is survived by his daughters, Shannon Wayne and Kelly Selby and her husband Jim and also a son Eric Wayne; grandchildren, Kaden, Jake, Kara, Georgia, Gracie and Griffin; brothers Richard Wayne and his wife Nancy and Jim Wayne and his wife Mary.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Friday, June 8, 2018 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Adams-Reed Funeral Home, Cowen. Funeral Services to celebrate Curtis’ life will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Lovely officiating. Interment will follow in Wayne Family Cemetery, Cowen.
