Bruce E. Williams, 92 of Cowen passed away on Friday, April 18, 2014 at Webster Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. He was born April 9, 1922 in Coe to General Burb and Rosa "Rosie" Hammons Williams and was a lifelong resident of Webster County. He enjoyed fishing and riding up and down the road to see what was going on throughout the neighborhood. His neighbors remember the long lines of traffic following him while he was cruising down the road.
Bruce is survived by his sister Bessie Hinkle of Cowen and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Arden S., Dennis, and Bennie M. Williams; sisters Cora M. Beale, Mabel Clara Salisbury, Callie Odessa Short, Audrey L. Short, Ida M. Short, Freeda Mullins, and Goldie M. Russell.
Friends may join the family for Graveside Services on Monday, April 21, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Holbrook Cemetery in Coe with Rev. Keith Williams officiating. Family Services provided by Adams-Reed Funeral Home.
