Alma Plummer 84 of Mills Mountain,CowenWV. died Tuesday at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Following an extended illness. She was born at Mill Creek , Randoplph Co., daughter of the late Wilson Turner Fletcher and Cora Maude Cutlip Fletcher.
She was a member of the Mills Mountain Community Church and served as a Board of Trustees. She enjoyed sewing,quilting,cooking and gardening.
Surviving; daughters: Anges "Susie"(Ancil)Green of cowen, Frankie Long of Camden-On-Gauley, Glenna Schrock and Roberta Keonig of Baltimore,MD. Sons: Edward Plummer of cowen, Melvin(Frances)Plummer of baltimore,md.step-sonJack(Pasty)Bailey of Fewrick, step-daughters; Ammie Belden, Vida Giddings and Gay Trusley all of baltimore,md. brothers; Arden Fletcher of cowen, Robert Fletcher and Cecil Fletcher of camden-on- gauley, sisters; Anges Holcomb of cowen and Virginia Rose of camden -on -gauley, 24 grandchildren 40 great grandchildren and 7 great -great grandchildren
In addition to her parents she was preceded by her husband, Ed Plummer, Son-Roby Plummer, Daughter Mary Lou Plummer and Granddaughter Angela Green, Gr.Granddaughter Jacqueline Ecomus, brothers; Melvin Plummer, Charley and William Howell, sisters Martha Ellen Maston, Ruth Feeney and Virginia Stewart
Service will be 1:00 pm Saturday, Feb.26,2011 at Adams-Reed Funeral Home,Cowen,with Rev.Keith Williams & Rev,Larry Lovely officiating. Burial will follow in the Mills Mountian Cemetery near Cowen,WV. Friends will be received 5-9pm Friday at the funeral home
